About us

Our founder Disha was a part of the corporate world for close to 10 years. Eventually she realized this was not her calling. With a lot of contemplation she left her job and decided to start a business of her own dealing in Indian ethnic clothing. 

The 1.5 years she spent doing it she learnt a lot about different kinds of Indian handmade fabrics and she was in awe with the kind of art and culture India has and which was yet to be showcased properly to the masses.

With this thought the idea and concept of Spun Story was born. Disha has always liked things differently that's when she conceptualized Spun Story being a handloom based western clothing brand.

Disha believes in a never quitting attitude. She has faced a lot of failures in her last 2 years of being an entrepreneur but all she has learnt is to pick up the pieces and move forward.

With Spun Story Disha wants to support sustainable living, ethically made clothes and supporting the artisans who will help to take the legacy ahead.
